MoU targets tokenized assets, financial inclusion and clean energy. Boldsmart platform to underpin rollout.
The Central African Republic has signed a memorandum of understanding with 2Bgreen and U.S.-based Sagint to advance a slate of digital and sustainability initiatives, the parties said, in a deal that aims to expand access to financial services, accelerate clean-energy adoption and modernize public-facing digital infrastructure.
Under the agreement, the companies plan to deploy technology built on the Boldsmart platform to support projects ranging from asset tokenization to new, consumer-oriented digital services intended to increase transparency and reach underserved communities. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Government officials said the accord is part of a broader strategy to attract international partners for sustainable development, aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. “This agreement reflects the Government’s commitment to placing the Central African Republic at the forefront of digital innovation in Africa, with real and immediate benefits for our population,” a government representative said.

2Bgreen said the collaboration is designed to translate ESG ambitions into measurable outcomes, while Sagint will contribute technology and implementation expertise. The parties said the program will roll out in phases and is expected to prioritize local job creation, wider access to modern financial tools and the introduction of cleaner energy solutions.
If executed as outlined, the initiative would mark an early step in building a more inclusive digital ecosystem in the Central African Republic, whose officials have sought to use technology partnerships to spur growth and improve public services.
